Cairo: UAE and Egypt launched a strategic partnership, to improve the latter’s government performance and achieve the Egypt Vision 2030.
The strategic partnership will cover government performance, excellence and capabilities, as well as smart services and government accelerators.
The partnership was launched during the visit of a UAE delegation, led by His Excellency Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future and Her Excellency Ohoud bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness and Wellbeing. Which met with Sherif Ismail, Prime Minister of Egypt, to agree on the details of the strategic partnership to improve Egypt’s government performance over the next three years.
In a press conference that was held in the Egyptian capital, Al Gergawi highlighted the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to establish an integrated strategic partnership between UAE and Egypt that will cover administrative and government development.
“The Egyptian Government has a clear vision and plan to develop its government work. Through this strategic partnership between UAE and Egypt, we will establish the new foundations of Arab administrative work,” Al Gergawi said.
“The advancement of Egypt is an advancement for all Arabs, and UAE’s experience is part of Arab development,” he added.
