UAE Ambassador to UK praises cultural, charity projects of Al Maktoum Foundation

LONDON, 4th March, 2019 (WAM) — A delegation from the Al Maktoum Higher Education College in Dundee, Scotland, led by Mirza Al Sayegh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, visited the UAE Embassy in the United Kingdom, where he was received by Soliman Hamed Salem Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to the UK.

During the meeting, Al Mazrouei thanked H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, who is the patron of the Al Maktoum Foundation, for launching charity, cultural and social projects in the UK, as well as for the foundation’s efforts to support development projects around the world, upon his directives.


He also praised the foundation’s contributions in Scotland, which has supported the cultural ties between the UAE and the UK. Al Mazrouei gave Al Sayegh an appreciation certificate to be presented to Sheikh Hamdan in recognition of his significaint support.

Al Sayegh expressed the willingness of the foundation to implement charity projects in the UK and around the world, stressing its keenness to support cultural, social and charity ties between the UAE and the UK.
