Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (Taqa) has announced that Saeed Hamad Al Dhaheri has been appointed acting chief operating officer.
He will assume the responsibilities of Edward LeFehr, who Taqa said is leaving the company to be closer to his family in the United States.
Mr Al Dhaheri “has been deputising for Edward LaFehr for the last two years and is working closely with him to ensure business continuity and a smooth transition”, Taqa said in a statement.
He joined Taqa in 2014 as executive vice president business support and will start the new role on June 22.
