Service Manager – Automobiles – Lobo Management – United Arab Emirates

The service manager oversees the service network of a multi brand company throughout the UAE and is responsible for Profitability, Service standards, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele and maintaining good employee relations. But most importantly, must satisfy service concerns of all customers, ensure that service is performed at the highest level and operate the department profitably.


Job Duties

The service manager oversees the service department and is typically responsible for:

 Hiring and supervising all service department personnel, as well as monitoring their performance in servicing customers
 Creating goals and objectives for the department, which includes an annual operating budget and a marketing plan to promote new and repeat business
 Providing training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel. Ensuring technicians maintain their skills up-to-date through periodic technical training on new systems and components offered by the automotive manufacturers
 Keeping up-to-date on manufacturer warranty and policy procedures while serving as a liaison with the factory representatives
 Maintaining the highest Customer Service Index (CSI) rating from customers by handling customer complaints immediately and according to dealership policy
 Communicate and coordinate with the principles on service and warranty related issues
 Communicate and coordinate with Sales and spare parts divisions on all related issues
 Promote sales, profitability and quality service culture throughout the Service network.
 Maintain excellent relationships with existing corporate and fleet clients and seek new ones.
 Reduce cost and improves efficiency
Job Requirements
 Previous experience as a service manager or number 2 in a large service network
 Extensive technical background with management skills
 Have been in the business for 15 years or more
 Require strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and principles
 Required to ensure profitability of all departments while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction
 Required to not only understand and keep abreast of the local regulation

Education Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
 Experience in related operation software such as Oracle
 Managerial training and skills

Other Requirements

 35 to 40 years old
 Energetic with good presentation skills
 Sales and target driven character
 UAE Driver’s license
