Purchase Officer-F&B – Mohamed Hilal Group – United Arab Emirates

JOB PURPOSE:


To source and procure the correct quality and quantity of materials/supplies at reasonable prices within deadlines, in line with the defined process,mainly for F&B division.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Provide necessary component details and order history during forecast planning and process all forecast orders as per the production requirements set during planning.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best quote among potential suppliers
• Communicate and place all related orders to supplier as per forecast / production requirement with required delivery date and order confirmation making sure all specific components orders for all items must be received before any production schedule.
• Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications
• Check and monitor stock status of each component inventory in the warehouse as well as consumable items keeping the minimum and maximum replenishment plan
• Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications
• Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts
• Maintain master file of all reference samples and implement systematic filing of documents
