ABU DHABI, 12th November, 2018 (WAM) — Organisers of the Official 47th United Arab Emirates National Day Celebration, ‘This is Zayed. This is the UAE’, have put out a call for volunteers to partake in this year’s events.
In collaboration with Emirates Foundation, the national organisation set up by the Abu Dhabi Government to facilitate public-private funded initiatives for the empowerment of youth across the UAE, through the Takatof Programme, the organising committee is searching for energetic and enthusiastic young citizens and residents of the UAE to support in the celebration at Zayed Sports City Stadium on 2nd December, offering an opportunity to become part of one of the nation’s most iconic events.
The call for volunteers presents a once in a lifetime opportunity, with world renowned artists, musicians and performers paying tribute to 47 glorious years of unity amidst extraordinary live performances the likes of which have never been seen before in the UAE.
Volunteers must be passionate with the reward that the eyes of the nation will be on them.

The Official 47th UAE National Day Celebration will combine traditional and modern tunes, poetry and art with futuristic visual and audio displays, creating an unforgettable celebration of the tolerance and unity of the UAE, alongside honouring the inspirational life and the cherished values of Sheikh Zayed, father of the nation.
