Multiple road crashes stall traffic In Dubai, Abu Dhabi

Dubai: Traffic crawled to a halt in some parts of the UAE on Tuesday morning due to a series of road crashes.

In Abu Dhabi, outbound traffic was stalled as early as 8:41am after an accident occurred on Al Khaleej Al Arabi St, just after the Mussafah bridge.

At least three lanes of the highway were blocked, according to Abu Dhabi Traffic authorities.

Less than an hour later, two more accidents were reported, with one stalling traffic on Al Falah St before Rashid Bin Saeed road and the other on the E30 Abu Dhabi-Al Ain highway.

The Al Falah road crash occurred at 9:19 am, followed by the the accident on the E30 at 9:52am.

In Dubai, Sharjah-bound commuters experienced delays on Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, just after Al Rashidiya due to another mishap involving a truck at 7:56 am.

On Monday, a recovery truck driver was killed and six others were injured in two separate road accidents in the UAE capital.

The driver died in a three-vehicle road crash, while the six other victims were hurt in a four-vehicle collision.
