First ‘UAE-Kyrgyzstan Political Deliberations Committee’ launched today in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 31st January, 2018 (WAM) — The first “UAE-Kyrgyzstan Political Deliberations Committee” was launched today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the capital, Abu Dhabi.

The UAE delegation was headed by Yacoub Yousef Hassan Al Hosani, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Organisations Affairs, while the Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Nurlan Abdrakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, several topics of mutual interest were discussed, as well as the means of strengthening the co-operation between both countries and developing their bilateral relations, to achieve their common interests and exchange opinions on many regional and international issues.


Al Hosani praised the relations between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan while highlighting his country’s interest in strengthening and developing these relations, which reflects the goals and directives of their leadership. Abdrakhmanov also affirmed these relations and praised the consecutive meetings held between the ministers of foreign affairs of both countries.

Al Hosani stressed the necessity of strengthening the relations between the two countries, as well as the importance of benefiting from the competitive advantages and exceptional growth of their economies in establishing joint co-operation, and the means of strengthening and developing them in all areas, especially in the economy, business, tourism and culture. He also highlighted the necessity of encouraging mutual visits between official delegations, to benefit from their development and advance their capabilities to higher levels, to serve their future.

Both sides stressed the importance of ongoing mutual co-ordination and discussions on various regional and international issues of mutual interest, especially through the United Nations, UN and its specialist agencies while valuing Kyrgyzstan’s regional and international role.

They also explained their national, regional and international efforts to combat terrorism and extremism while noting the necessity of finding successful solutions to worsening crises in the region and returning stability.

At the end of the session, Al Hosani invited the Kyrgyz delegation to expand their joint bilateral and multilateral co-operation, to serve their mutual goals and interests and answer and achieve the interests of their people.
