Emirati researcher signs book on administrative leadership at ADIBF

ABU DHABI, 29th April, 2018 (WAM) — The Dialogue Council pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, ADIBF, witnessed the signing of a book by Emirati researcher Dr. Mohammed Manea Al Mansouri, entitled, ‘Administrative Leadership’, about the general characteristics and role of administrative leadership in sustainable and smart development.

The book is also the first scientific and practical study on the role of executive councils in leading the sustainable development process.

The eight-chapter book, published by the Egyptian-Lebanese Publishing House, focuses on the human element as the key factor in administrative development, especially administrative leadership.

The book also highlights the role of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council in leading the emirate’s sustainable and smart development, by presenting the emirate’s stages of development and its management of economic diversity. It also highlights the council’s role in developing effective and flexible infrastructure, human resources and digital infrastructure, as well as in facing sustainable development challenges, to achieve the Abu Dhabi Development Model.

It includes a study of the concept of leadership and its importance, and the role of psychologists and sociologists in its analysis, as well as the four principles of leadership and the components of administrative leadership, along with its strengths, characteristics, administrative classifications and key categories.
