Customer happiness the catalyst for development, Hamdan says

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, on Sunday unveiled a five-star plaque at the Passport Control Centre of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs at Hatta border checkpoint.

The centre is among the second set of Dubai Government Customer Happiness Centres to be rated under the Star Rating programme.

Shaikh Hamdan was accompanied by Abdullah Mohammad Al Basti, Secretary-General of the Dubai Executive Council, and was received by Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Suroor, Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.

“Customer happiness is the catalyst for further development of government services, and a key pillar for ensuring the alignment of our services with the vision and aspirations of the leadership and the community to improve government services through innovation,” Shaikh Hamdan said.

“We aim to create an environment that promotes the happiness of the public. We are guided by the goal of establishing happiness as a fundamental value in society. Finding creative and innovative ways of enhancing the delivery of government services at Customer Happiness Services, so that it meets international benchmarks, is part of our effort to create an exceptional customer experience across different service channels,” he said.

Shaikh Hamdan praised the performance of the centre’s employees, who were instrumental in the achievement of the 5-Star rating.
