Contracts Administrator – KGA Group DMCC – Kuwait

Candidate with Oil & Gas Experience, preferably with GCC experience. The candidates should have played a leadership role as Manager in Cost Control, Contract Management also managing all site-based activities to ensure that contracts are delivered on time, to the required standards within budget, whilst maximizing client satisfaction.


Job Description:

  • Responsibility for preparation and administration of subcontracts, task orders and subsequent amendments.
  • Tasks include the negotiation of terms and conditions, analyses of price and creation of the subcontract document.
  • Participates in teaming agreement and strategic marketing alliance negotiations between company and outside sources.
  • Reviews client solicitations received by company and provides recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements to business management proposal team.
  • Responsible for monitoring subcontractor’s performance, including the management of the deliverables and payment of invoices.
  • Keeps fully informed on all subcontracts standards, plans and policies. Prepares and supports subcontract negotiations.
  • Ensures that the subcontract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations.
  • Monitors subcontract performance for conformance to requirements to protect the interest of the company.
  • Prepares and disseminates information to appropriate employees regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination.
  • Responsible for writing cure letters and monitoring responses.
  • Report status of current contract processes to management.
  • Work with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategy.
  • Invoice follow-up, Preparing Claims and Variations
  • Resolve any existing contract conflicts.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied
  • Follow up to guarantee contractual payments have been made.
  • Analyze potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
  • Review, checking, monitoring and analysis of project cash flow and budgets.
  • Review and reconcile statement of accounts for subcontractors and supplier to make necessary payments.
  • Reviews and verify records, if in compliance with policies, procedures and standards.
  • Recommending modification or changes while ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Work with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategy
  • Coordinate actions with internal procurement and legal teams if needed.
  • Report status of current contract processes to management.
