Compliance Manager – Digital Banking – Robert Walters – Kuwait

A leading bank across the GCC is going through an innovation program and seeking to hire a Digital Banking Compliance Manager to join their team in Kuwait. This role’s overall responsibility is to explore in what way customers and employee to implement rules in the digital world and understand the important matters of compliance in the electronic signature age.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensure a bank’s policy and procedure meets with the rules associated in digital compliance
  • Knowledgeable with Central Bank of Kuwait regulations
  • Ensure all new products, policies and procedures aligns with the Central Bank of Kuwait
  • Consolidate detailed reports for business stakeholders and Digital Banking Executives
  • Manage all Communication and Training activity for the Compliance and Control team
  • Manage all administration, actions and reporting for the group
  • Develop, monitor and track implementation of group-wide strategies, policies, systems and standards in order to manage, monitor and control risks
  • Engagement with key risk disciplines
  • Initiate and lead changes to systems, processes and working practices
  • Support the team and Digital Banking Exec in process implementation
  • Assist GM with strategic and tactical budget management, cost analysis, forecasting and reporting
  • Qualifications and Competencies


  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Business degree/ Finance/ Accounting)
  • 4-6 years of experience in the digital market across GCC
  • Strong communication skills, team player, ability to multi task, time management, ownership and attention to details.
  • Excellent experience/skills in stakeholder management
  • Background with Digital Banking Compliance Management
