Assistant Manager – Partner Communications – Expo2020 Dubai – United Arab Emirates

The Assistant Manager – Partner Communications plays a key role in the communications team, working with the Marketing and Commercial departments and the partners themselves. They will plan and coordinate communications initiatives and announcements with partners, in alignment with Expo 2020’s communications strategy and roadmap in order to build awareness and engagement with Expo.


Main responsibilities of the role include:

– Assist with the development of communications plans and messages with the line manager, Director and/or VP Communications for Expo activities that support the Expo 2020 communications strategy; 
– Support line manager in maintaining relationships with the commercial partners and keep regular contact with them to identify opportunities in line with the communications roadmap; 
– Support the line manager with coordination with the Commercial and Marketing teams to identify communications opportunities and requirements;
– Keep track of and report on partner communications activities; 
– Coordinate with other functions in Marketing and Communications to amplify impact of communications activities; 
– Support line manager with crisis communications preparedness and reaction to issues, incidents and crises; 
– Support media relations and operations tasks as required.
