ABU DHABI, 21st February, 2018 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi University, ADU, has concluded its Open Week for the Spring semester of the 2017-2018 academic year across its three campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai with great turnaround from 60 schools.
Offering high school students the opportunity to learn more about university life and the benefits of studying at ADU, the Open Week packed an agenda of seminars and workshops, providing a preview of ADU’s academic programmes. These include the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes offered via ADU’s College of Law, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, and College of Business. In addition, ADU’s Open Week included campus tours to highlight the advanced educational facilities including ADU’s libraries, media laboratories, and scientific labs where students can experience at the university.
Speaking on the occasion, Laila Kroma, Senior Manager of Admissions, Enrollment, and International Relations Department at ADU, said, “Every year, more and more students turn up to participate in ADU’s Open Week events, and this speaks volumes to the quality of education offered at the university. It is also a testament to the stature that ADU has achieved as one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the region with its dedication to innovation and excellence in teaching, scientific research and community service, as well as its portfolio of diverse and internationally benchmarked programmes that prepare graduates who will help shape the national development process in line with the policy agenda of Abu Dhabi’s Government and its Economic Vision 2030.”
