Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the aim of boosting their cooperation in various fields of mutual interests.
The MoU was signed by Major-General Mohammad Khalfan Al Rumaithi. commander-in-chief of Abu Dhabi Police, and Neil Gaughan, AFP deputy commissioner operations, in the presence of Major-General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, director-general of Abu Dhabi Police.
The MoU aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in a number of fields, including training and the exchange of expertise and information, in order to achieve common objectives, boost preventive efforts and precautionary measures to combat crime.
