Umm Al Qaiwain CP visits fishing festival in emirate

UMM AL QAIWAIN, 7th March, 2019 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain visited the first Umm Al Qaiwain Fishing Festival, the activities of which were launched today and will continue for three days in Al Khor Dock beside the fish market in the emirate, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain.

The Crown Prince toured the different parts of the festival which is witnessing the participation of over 25 companies selling fishing equipment and met with the representatives of the exhibiting companies. He heard an explanation from Haitham Sultan, Chairman of the Organising Committee, about the fishing championships which are being held, in addition to the diverse activities being held on the sidelines of the festival.

He was accompanied on the tour by Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Chairman of the Department of Finance in Umm Al Qaiwain.
