Sr. Sales Engineer (HVAC) – Steelmark Middle East – Qatar

JOB DESCRIPTIONS: ENGINEER Head quartered in Bahrain with operations in almost all GCC countries, we are one of the major project package specialists and international distributors of steel pipes, fittings, flanges, valves and other piping components used in fluid and gas transmission all over the world. We are inviting applications for the position of Sr. Sales Engineer (HVAC) to reinforce our team in Qatar. People with high technical knowledge in Steel Piping and with a valid Qatar Driving License ONLY need to apply. Job Responsibility: • Sr. Sales Engineershould be capable of establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers • The candidate should be able to Manage and interpret customer requirements • The candidate should be able to Negotiate tender and contract terms • The candidate should Console reports send by Sales Engineer and providing to Management. • Meeting regular sales targets • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education. • Providing training and producing support material for the sales team • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams. • Sr. Sales Manager should support, assist and co-ordinate strategies and duties. • Should target Budget in consultation with the Director. • Support, train and motivate Sales Coordinator andSales Administrator. • Promotion and monitoring of progress of the respective Sales Team. • Report of most active agencies to be provided to Sales Manager. • Customer sales analysis (action) report, to be provided to Sales Manager. • To review market prices and availability of similar stock items in order to reconsider the sales pricing policy with Sales Manager. • Adherence to and implementation of Quality Management System. • Annual budget, sales forecast and marketing planning. • Follow-up key customers and major consultants. • Co-ordination with Purchase & Accounts Department to meet customer requirements (price, quality and delivery time). • To follow-up outstanding payments in consultation with accountant. • Ensure received enquiries and queries are acknowledged within 24 hours and follow-up. • Ensure quality quotations are prepared advising best technical option and commercial alternatives fully meeting the specification and client’s requirements in co-ordination with Sales Engineer/Sales Coordinator/Sales Administrator. • To ensure that the minimum agreed margins of all orders are maintained. • To ensure that terms of payments are strictly adhered to at the time of order. • To monitor and support the sales of non-moving stock items. • To ensure that all reminders / complaints received are handled swiftly. • Correspondence with clients whenever required (. sensitive matters). • On basis on the weekly report provided by Accounts Department for Pending Sales Order, try to push as many items as possible in conjunction with Sales Coordinator/ Sales Administrator. • Competitors: Stocks of which manufacturers are maintained and by whom along with their price levels. • Monitor newly introduced products and traders in the area. • Expected to work beyond normal hours according to the demand of the job. • To travel abroad when required.
