·Receives and greets customers (Walk In or Telephone).
·Interacts with the customer and understands the customer queries, concerns and types of service needed.
·Liaises with the workshop and customers to identify and record the services requirements, cost and time required.
·Advises the customer for the required service by understanding information provided by the customer and through visual inspection of the vehicle.
·Estimates the cost of repair and prepares the itemized work order, using cost of parts and labor. Forwards the work order details to cost controller.
·Informs and obtains the customer approval and on the type of service, cost and the time estimates. Forwards the work order details to cost controller.
·Administers, verifies and authenticates the vehicle documents, accident reports and insurance papers if applicable.
·Opens job cards for the service on the system.
·Informs and arranges for the collection delivery of the customer vehicles.
·Follows up with the workshop team on the service completion and timelines; updates customer of the job order status.
·Ensures the service advice is provided as per the manufacturer standards, guidelines and specifications and AAS customer service standards.
·Provides invoice copies to the customer for the service orders and provides guidance for the payments.
·Keeps the customers informed of the work progress, notifies any delays and additional services required along with the cost and obtains customer approval. Provides any/all details as requested by the customers.
·Keeps up to date with the automotive and technical knowledge by attending trainings and through brand manuals.
