FUJAIRAH, 29th April, 2018 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, highlighted the importance of postgraduate degree holders in conveying the UAE’s message to the rest of the world and promoting its prominent international position, as well as the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, to the emirate’s educated youth to lead the country’s overall development.
He made this statement while honouring 18 master’s degree graduates in various scientific and social specialisations in his office at the Emiri Court this morning, where he listened to a brief presentation about their specialisations and the contents of their theses.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad congratulated the students and wished them luck and success in their professional careers, while hoping that they continue progressing in their chosen fields, to fulfil their future roles in serving their country.
He also praised the role of the Education Welfare and Academic Affairs Council of the Fujairah Government and its support for post graduate students, while highlighting the importance of the cooperation between the government, institutions and individuals in establishing the foundations of a working academic strategy and an effective community, as well as supporting talented Emirati youth.
Rashid Obaid Al Hafeeti, Chairman of the Education Welfare and Academic Affairs Council, thanked President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed, and their brothers, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, for supporting education and encouraging students to acquire their academic degrees and serve their country.
Al Hafeeti also thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad for receiving and honouring the graduates in Fujairah, while praising his role in supporting the local education system.
