Emirates airline has signed American actress Jennifer Aniston to be the face of its upcoming global advertising campaign.
The Friends star has already shot the campaign for the Dubai carrier in a deal worth US$5 million, the New York Post’s Page Six column said at the weekend.
“Jennifer Aniston has shot a high-profile campaign for Emirates as part of this deal, for which she is being paid around $5 million. She will appear across TV and print ads worldwide,” a source was quoted as saying.
Aniston is not the first Hollywood A-lister to front an advertising campaign in the UAE. In March, Etihad Airways introduced the Oscar-winning Australian actress Nicole Kidman as it newest global brand ambassador.
The Abu Dhabi carrier’s latest marketing pitch starring Kidman are now being shown on TV stations around the world and on social media in 60- and 30-second formats.
The advertisement was shot on board Etihad Airways’ new flagship Airbus A380 and at several sites around the world, including Abu Dhabi, Marseilles and Prague.
