Account Manager-Corporate Sales – Tawasul Telecom – Bahrain

The Corporate Account manager has the responsibility to develop & manage the growth

strategy, providing focus for new & existing customers toward the achievement of market

presence and revenue targets. Through his market knowledge, he will define and work on the

sales plan and manage & develop his account and work on acquiring new accounts through

field/leg work. He will maintain direct relation with key accounts and provide adequate



Market knowledge

·        Build a good knowledge of the market environment in which the customer is operating and ensure timely reporting on market intelligence

·        Keep an open eye on the market to detect any threats from competitors

·        Generate sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets


·        Manage structured sales plan with clear KPIs and targets

·        Promote and sell products and services to target markets to meet their needs and to achieve the sales targets and revenue budgets

·         Ensure sales targets are achieved

·         Maintain a pro-active and creative approach to sales opportunities

·         Client visits/meetings/tele-calling/cold calling on daily basis


Customer Relationship

·        Build trust, social activities & public relations with key account customers, work on solving their problems, and respond to their requests any time

·        Educate and create awareness to the customers about any new offers, bundles, services offered by Kalaam Telecom and play the advisor / consultant role to increase customers’

·        Send out client correspondence within 24 hours of the request for information as a tool for managing the sales efforts

·        Promote the company’s image through attitude, professionalism, knowledge, customer orientation and responsiveness to customer’s needs


·        Focus on acquiring new customers & managing existing customers

·        Provide sales reporting and feedback to the manager

·        Ensure that the CRM tools are correctly used and updated

·        Gives feed-back on field expectations




·        Bachelor degree

·        Diploma/Degree/Certificate in IT/Telecommunication


·        Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in sales field or business development.

·        Experience in Telecommunication / IT sector

·        Clear sales achievements track record in Telecommunications and IT

·        Experience in selling Voice/Data/Internet (not GSM) to corporate in Bahrain or GCC
